Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Wellness Support Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting in-depth clinical assessments to identify client needs and challenges, followed by creating personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based practices.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and the integrity of client care.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client wellness, participating in case discussions and treatment reviews.
• Providing education to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by staying current with the latest research and best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily support a diverse population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. The Wellness Support Center actively seeks to engage underserved communities, ensuring that all individuals have access to quality mental health services.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills in the field.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida, confirming your professional qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience providing direct services in mental health settings, showcasing your ability to navigate complex client needs.
• Competence in various psychotherapy modalities, particularly solution-focused interventions, allowing for tailored client support.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills critical for building strong, therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Advanced problem-solving skills, enabling you to address challenges and support client progress effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
