About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing e-commerce company delivering premium Korean food and lifestyle products across the United States. Headquartered in Carson, CA, with an additional fulfillment center in Pennsylvania, the company ships over 1,000 refrigerated, frozen, and shelf-stable products nationwide. As it expands its online business beyond its Shopify direct-to-consumer store, the company is investing in new marketplace growth channels.

The company is hiring a results-driven E-Commerce Marketplace Manager to lead sales growth across U.S. marketplace channels while supporting its Shopify e-commerce business. This role is the founding member of a newly established Marketplace team, taking ownership of marketplace strategy, sales performance, advertising, merchandising, and day-to-day channel operations. The position initially focuses exclusively on marketplace management, with room to expand responsibilities as the business grows.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Marketplace sales and channel management: manage and grow sales across major U.S. marketplace channels including Amazon, Weee!, TikTok Shop, and other B2C platforms. Develop channel-specific sales strategies and achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  
• Marketplace merchandising and advertising: manage product listings, pricing, promotional campaigns, advertising performance, and merchandising to maximize sales, conversion rates, and return on advertising spend (ROAS).
  
• Shopify e-commerce operations: support the operation and optimization of the Shopify store, using third-party apps such as Klaviyo, Yotpo, and analytics tools to improve customer experience and online performance.
  
• Performance analysis and business growth: monitor key metrics including GMV, sales, conversion rate, ROAS, and profitability. Identify growth opportunities and recommend strategies to improve channel performance.
  
• Cross-functional collaboration: partner with merchandising, marketing, operations, customer service, and the Korea office to execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and inventory planning across all online channels.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bilingual in Korean and English.
  
• Experience managing e-commerce sales, online marketplaces, or digital commerce platforms.
  
• Strong understanding of marketplace operations, advertising platforms, product merchandising, and performance optimization.
  
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  
• Self-motivated, with the ability to build and manage new business initiatives independently.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading e-commerce or marketplace operations for a consumer brand.
  
• 3+ years managing Amazon, Weee!, TikTok Shop, Walmart Marketplace, or similar marketplace platforms.
  
• Experience with Shopify platform management and related e-commerce applications (Klaviyo, Yotpo, Google Analytics, or similar).
  
• Demonstrated success driving online sales growth through marketplace expansion.
