JOB TITLE: Product Manager/Director Adv+Business Development
LOCATION: Bolton, ON
DURATION: FTE
RATE RANGE: $180,000-$210,000 CAD

POSITION SUMMARY:

The responsibility of this position is to provide strategic leadership for our client's Service Contracts products. They will be responsible for developing a global market strategy, provide product development recommendations (to differentiate our client from its competitors), maintain customer relationships and create strategic alliances. The objective of the Services Contract Director is to grow our client's Services Contract market share and profit, generate new revenue (from new opportunities) and ensure a long-term sustainable Services Contract business.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commercialization of Service Contracts including GTM launch of Advantage +, NSM modules and re-engineering of Proact Product definition and management including establishing pricing, and sales tools with value propositions
  • Drive the results of the SDP KPI's
  • Establish the systems and process for Maintain Commitment Level "0" contract support
  • SSNX development and delivery of customer orders (attach, recapture and cancellation)
  • Liaise with Marketing Communications team on branding and marketing of Services Products Understand the market globally, the size, growth, drivers and how customers operate.
  • Develop strategies that identify new opportunities for Husky to grow market share and profit for Service Contracts.
  • Develop market intelligence, understanding of competitors, products, services, strategies, people, strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop key player relationships
  • Identify Product Opportunities/Trends/Technologies
  • Communicate to the operations Service Contract requirements and specifications.
  • Develop sales arguments - product advantages, competitor comparisons.
  • Visit end customers to support the Sales Regions in securing business
  • Sales Effectiveness Responsibilities: Driving the Systemized GTM strategies including account management activities ( Competencies of people, playbook, pilots, deployment of active management and metrics)
  • Development, training & implementation of sustainable process and tools
  • Define, and monitor Sales excellence activities and KPI's
  • Proactively monitor Opportunities in VSF including Opportunities review and improving conversion rate and velocity of opportunities through the funnel Primary responsibility is GTM and account strategies for all of CSM products
  • Integrated account strategies with Rigid Packaging Sales including Asset Renewal and Aftermarket Tooling strategies through the life cycle of the system
  • Product management of Upgrades and Refurb
  • Lead Generation: Ensure there are enough leads to support revenue growth based on conversion rate (STLG, Upgrades blitz, etc)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent ideally combined with a business degree (MBA or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in dealing with and building effective relationships with customers.
  • 10 years+ experience in a technical service environment and business management experience
  • Highly creative and innovative.
  • Driven, energetic and self-motivated.
  • In-depth knowledge of equipment manufacturing and plastics processing.
  • Strong decision-making skills and mental toughness.
  • Excellent persuasive and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong team player, yet able to work independently.
