Job Summary:
Unity is the world’s leading game engine, powering play for more than 3 billion consumers each month. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will own XR graphics, set the product strategy and roadmap, and ensure alignment with business priorities and user needs.
Responsibilities:
• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, drawing on your own technical expertise alongside customer and platform partner feedback, production verification, market research, and competitive analysis.
• Work with internal teams, end users, and partners to discover user needs, define feature requirements, and validate technology in development.
• Extract, analyze, and visualize quantitative and qualitative data to drive and validate development and user-experience decisions in an unbiased way.
• Partner with stakeholders across Engineering, Quality, Design, Documentation, and Program Management to align on business goals, user needs, and technical requirements, then prioritize features and improvements against customer feedback, business impact, and technical constraints.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing on positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans for releases, and run the customer feedback loops that keep the product improving.
Qualifications:
Required:
• A highly technical understanding of real-time game and application development, from hands-on experience with Unity, Unreal, or a proprietary game engine.
• Experience with XR development and graphics performance optimization.
• Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management, with the cross-functional ability to bring teams together around shared goals and priorities.
• Comfort acting as the primary product advocate, whether presenting at industry developer events like Unite, on customer visits, or to large customers and the leadership behind our platform partnerships.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data analysis tools.
Preferred:
• Storytelling and visual presentation skills, with the ability to distill sophisticated topics into clear, concise communication.
• Knowledge of computer graphics and low-level graphics APIs (e.g. Vulkan).
