Senior Software Engineer, Feature Platform

The opportunity
At Unity Data & ML Team, we build high-throughput distributed systems and products around machine learning on a scale of hundreds of thousands of apps. Our Grow platform processes TBs of data and delivers relevant content to hundreds of millions of users every day.
We are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Feature Platform that is building the foundation of a feature platform that will serve all of Unity's AI and Machine Learning needs for years to come! In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to design and develop a highly-scalable feature building platform.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop and own new highly scalable services that bring substantial business impact.
• Work on services and data pipelines to process high throughput data into machine learning features.
• Ensure service scalability and reliability through effective code and data serving designs.
• Communicate clearly your ideas, solutions and discuss them with an international team across multiple time zones.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, BigQuery, and DBT.
• Experience with highly scalable distributed systems, large-scale queries and joins.
• Experience with high-throughput and low-latency request serving.
• Experience in mobile advertisement and gaming is a big plus.
• Experience with machine learning concepts is also a plus.
