What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks): - Perform hands on forensic preservation of laptops, desktops, and other digital media, maintaining proper chain-of-custody and evidence handling standards.
- Analyze preserved data and prepare reports for Corporate Investigations and Legal Affairs.
- Work on data minimization projects.
- Work within ticket management tools to document work and assist with caseload. Communicate with investigators, attorneys, and business partners to advance priorities and provide updates on progress.
Preferred background/prior work experience: - Technical background, ideally from Digital Forensics or adjacent fields ( i.e. Cybersecurity, IT)
Priority soft skills: - Team player / detailed / dependable 1 year of experience in Digital Forensics or Cybersecurity preferred.
- This position will focus on forensic preservation of laptops and other digital media in support of Privacy and eDiscovery matters, while also assisting with data retention and minimization efforts.
- Additional responsibilities include case management, review, and resolution, data organization and analysis, and other duties as assigned for Corporate Investigations and Legal Affairs.
- The role requires strong technical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with scripting, ticket management systems, and the ability to work with and interpret disparate datasets preferred.
Compensation:The hourly rate for this position is between $38.00-$40.00 per hour.
