Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in collaborative discussions with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery, addressing all aspects of clients' mental health.
  • Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health through ongoing workshops and professional training.
  • Successfully manage a stable and manageable caseload, while employing strategies that prioritize each client's needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will range from individuals seeking counseling for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will also work with families navigating complex dynamics and groups dealing with shared experiences. Your approach will be tailored to meet each client's unique needs and preferences, guided by evidence-based practices that empower them to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for those who have worked in clinical settings.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
  • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms to deliver services effectively in a remote setting.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, with additional opportunities for performance bonuses. We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus to qualified candidates.
