Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments through psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, cultural backgrounds, and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), tailored to individual, couple, family, and group settings.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services by assessing acute distress and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with valuable coping strategies and knowledge about their mental health conditions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure coordinated care and address any ongoing challenges faced by clients.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, and utilize current research to inform practice.
• Uphold ethical guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed clinical social worker at Unity Care Services, you will serve a diverse population of clients, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds experiencing mental health challenges. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in trauma-informed care techniques and familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health is preferred.
• Skills in crisis intervention and working with high-risk populations are highly valued.
• Previous experience in community health settings or outpatient services is a plus.

• The competitive annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, reflecting experience and education.
