Job Description
As the Marketing Associate, you will spend your day interacting with software vendors to help them leverage TrustRadius. You'll be the first point of contact for our inbound vendor inquiries. Your challenge will be to identify the right ways - using both phone and email - to persuade and onboard new software vendors. You will also work closely with our business development team to identify revenue opportunities for our products and services. You will report to the VP of Marketing.
Your day-to-day:
  • Generate vendor interest for our products and services
  • Respond and/or route appropriately our phone and email inbound vendor inquiries
  • Research and build vendor contact lists in new software categories
  • Execute vendor outreach campaigns via phone and email
  • Facilitate on-boarding process for new vendors
  • Be the vendors expert point of contact for working with TrustRadius
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce.com
  • Provide suggestions on how we can optimize our vendor marketing program

The ideal candidate is a highly energetic person who enjoys persuading others and can successfully manage a large number of campaigns.
Qualifications
  • BA in Business, Marketing or related field
  • Prior inside sales, online customer service or junior community manager experience a plus
  • Enjoys persuading others and talking on the phone
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills
  • Strong interest in technology and marketing
  • Upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Extremely organized and detailed oriented
  • Proficient computer skills; prior experience with marketing automation and/or Salesforce.com a plus
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting

Additional Information
  • This job is located in Austin, TX.
  • Compensation will be based on experience, including base salary and equity in an early stage startup backed by a top-tier VC.
