Position Overview

The Transformative Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This role offers a flexible remote work setting, allowing you to effectively manage your work-life balance while still engaging meaningfully with clients. Although primary responsibilities will take place from home, regular virtual meetings and collaborative case assessments are integral to this position. The nature of the work requires dedicated spaces for confidential consultations, emphasizing the importance of creating an environment conducive to therapy. You will have the opportunity to connect with clients across various time zones, and availability for evening or weekend appointments will be required to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ needs, strengths, and therapeutic goals.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities.
• Effectively monitor and evaluate client progress towards achieving their mental health goals through regular check-ins and adjustment of treatment strategies.
• Provide crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies, ensuring safety and supportive care.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of all client interactions and therapeutic progress in accordance with state regulations and clinic policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of current trends in mental health and integrating innovative practices into service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will involve working with a varied clientele who face challenges such as mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, and significant life transitions, including relationship breakdowns, grief, and family conflict. This role requires a nuanced understanding of cultural competencies to address the specific needs of our diverse client base, which reflects the vibrant demographics of Galveston and the greater Texas area.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.
• A current, unencumbered state license to practice clinical social work (LCSW) in Texas is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in both independent and collaborative settings, demonstrating initiative and the ability to be a proactive team player.
• Demonstrated capacity to handle confidential information with the utmost care and professionalism.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in behavioral health settings, particularly within community health clinics or outpatient services.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Background in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or other therapeutic modalities, enhancing the breadth of services you can offer.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
