We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time capacity at Together For Change Center. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining the essential connection to clients in a school-based setting. Regular business hours are standard, with occasional evening and weekend hours expected to meet the needs of clients and programs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and evaluate clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges, ensuring each individual's unique needs are thoroughly understood.
• Develop and implement tailored service plans that encompass clear goals, interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring to facilitate positive outcomes.
• Provide individual and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches to foster resilience and guide clients through their challenges.
• Collaborate closely with clients to formulate personalized service plans, connecting them with appropriate community resources and support systems.
• Perform crisis intervention and risk assessment as necessary, ensuring safety planning is in place to address immediate concerns and promote stability.
• Engage in partnerships with community agencies, facilitating coordinated care and advocacy for clients, while raising awareness of available services.
• Participate in outreach initiatives that promote the agency’s services and enhance community awareness of mental health issues.
• Attend case conferences, staff training, and team meetings regularly to stay aligned with agency goals and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse clientele, including at-risk youth and families navigating a range of social challenges. You will engage with individuals experiencing mental health crises, those affected by trauma, and clients needing ongoing support with socioeconomic barriers. Your role is pivotal in empowering these individuals by providing compassionate counseling and connecting them with essential resources, contributing to their overall mental well-being and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, reflecting a strong foundation in clinical practices.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey, validating your qualifications to provide clinical services.
• A robust understanding of social justice issues, resources available within the community, and trauma-informed care principles that guide practice.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and problem-solving abilities that enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a social service agency or similar environment, ideally providing direct clinical services to diverse populations.
• Familiarity with school systems, mental health protocols, and community resource navigation to effectively support client needs.
• Experience applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities in clinical work, fostering strong therapeutic alliances and positive treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
