Key Responsibilities

• Actively engage with clients, both in virtual settings and within the community, addressing a spectrum of mental health issues through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to effectively identify the needs of clients, ensuring timely and appropriate intervention strategies.
• Manage a diverse caseload that includes individual, group, and family therapy, focusing on presenting issues and empowering clients to achieve their treatment goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute episodes, ensuring client safety and effective de-escalation techniques are utilized.
• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes diligently to meet compliance and quality standards set forth by the organization.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training, demonstrating a commitment to improving clinical skills and keeping abreast of industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on clients suffering from major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions. You will work with a diverse client base that spans various ages, cultural traditions, and personal histories. Your work will directly contribute to improved outcomes for clients as you facilitate recovery through tailored and empathetic therapeutic practices.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or related field is required.
• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas is mandatory.
• A strong understanding of therapeutic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities tailored for adults and populations experiencing severe mental health issues.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.
• Demonstrated competency and respect for diverse cultures, beliefs, and interpersonal styles in practice.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with a focus on mental health is preferred.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is an asset, enabling effective communication with a broader client population.
