Job Title: Deployment Technician (Laptop Imaging & Provisioning)

Location: Nutley, NJ

Onsite Role – Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Duration: 2-3 Month Contract

Start Date: September 14, 2026 (Tentative) - Latest September 21st, 2026

Pay Rate: $20 hourly W2

Experience Level: Intermediate

Overview

We are seeking a Deployment Technicians to support a large-scale laptop deployment project involving approximately 1,185 new HP EliteBook 830 G11 laptops. This role will focus on imaging, provisioning, enrolling, and tracking devices while ensuring all systems are deployed in accordance with established standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft AutoPilot, Microsoft Intune, laptop imaging, Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and enterprise device deployments.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Apply the approved corporate base image to HP EliteBook 830 G11 laptops using Microsoft AutoPilot and Microsoft Intune.
• Configure laptops according to one of four assigned Active Directory / Azure AD domains.
• Validate successful image deployment, enrollment, and device readiness prior to completion.
• Track and document device serial numbers and deployment information using an existing spreadsheet.
• Ensure all deployment activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Handle equipment and accessories in accordance with company standards and best practices.
• Maintain an organized workspace and comply with all onsite policies and procedures.
• Communicate deployment status, issues, and risks to project leadership as needed.
• Dispose of packaging materials and maintain a clean deployment area.

What We're Looking For

This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on technical work and have experience supporting enterprise laptop deployments. The successful candidate will help image, enroll, configure, and track more than 1,100 devices while ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment process.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
