Northeast Delta Dental in Concord, NH is looking to hire an onsite, full-time Technical Support Specialist to enhance computer and network systems and support users by analyzing requirements, installing and configuring hardware and software, and following up on inquiries and requests. All candidates must live in New Hampshire.
The Technical Support Specialist position earns a competitive salary at $24.00 - $25.00 / hour, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Ensures proper functionality of applications and systems by installing, updating, and configuring software on workstations and devices; provides ongoing system maintenance and user support.
Resolves user problems with desktop computers, laptops, iPads, and other devices by understanding user needs, analyzing applications, researching and developing options, and implementing technical solutions; informs and educates users about the changes.
Provides exceptional customer service to employees by promptly answering phone calls and emails; provides accurate information and quickly resolves or refers inquiries.
Increases productivity and customer satisfaction by evaluating trends in user requests; proactively recommends improvements; initiates and updates processes.
Creates or updates standard operating procedures by documenting processes and/or revising documentation as operations change.
KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES / SKILLS: As the Technical Support Specialist, you will have an Associate's Degree in Computer Science plus at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and/or education. Proficient in the use and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows & Office Suite. Experience with ticketing system concepts, Wi-Fi, Active Directory, VoIP, PowerShell, Group Policy, and OS imaging automation required. Must have a valid driver's license. Occasional travel required.
WORK SCHEDULE: The typical work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. for this 37.5 hour per week position. This position will work on-premises at our Concord, NH headquarters. All candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future and live in the state of New Hampshire.
