As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Talkiatry, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions through video conferencing technology.
• Utilizing solution-focused treatment modalities to facilitate meaningful interactions with clients.
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client.
• Helping clients gain insights into their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitoring client progress throughout the therapeutic process and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Equipping clients with healthy coping mechanisms and strategies to improve their overall mental well-being.

Your clientele will primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults who present with a diverse range of mental health needs. By offering teletherapy services, you will help these individuals develop essential coping strategies and enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
• No pending disciplinary actions or limitations on licensure.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
• Strong computer literacy skills to navigate our digital platforms effectively.
