Job description

Role Overview

Coordinate projects and contractor teams to support the development of high-quality, scalable learning content across instructional products such as college courses and test preparation materials. This role manages processes and workflows populated by SMEs and content freelancers, applies learning science best practices, and leverages AI-powered workflows to improve content quality, consistency, and production efficiency.

The contractor will be expected to work PST business hours. Additionally, they will need to use their own computer and have reliable access to high-speed internet.

What You'll Do
  • Support the development of curriculum, test prep, and instructional materials
  • Onboard, coordinate, and support a distributed team of SMEs and content developers
  • Apply learning science principles and learning design best practices to ensure development of learner-centered content
  • Build and maintain scalable, high-quality content development workflows using AI and other tools
  • Provide clear, ongoing feedback, troubleshooting, and guidance to freelancers and contributors
  • Continuously improve content development processes through experimentation and innovation and AI usage
  • Monitor and proactively communicate progress, risks, and resource needs to team leadership
  • Conduct research to formulate and propose evidence-based solutions
  • Develop, document, and maintain best practices for content creation and review
What You\'ll Bring to the Role
  • 2โ€“3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, test prep content, or ed tech content management
  • Demonstrated success using AI-powered tools or automation to support content development
  • Experience implementing learning science and instructional design principles in content creation for learners
  • Experience working in ed tech or digital learning environments
  • Comfortable working PST business hours
  • Optional preferred qualification
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Experience with independent and collaborative decision-making processes
