JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Planner 4
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $61.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Summary: 

  • Leads creation, revision, and approval of structural build plans, installation plans, sequences, and associated work instructions for structural modifications and assemblies.

  • Translates engineering drawings, modification packages, and design intent into producible manufacturing and installation processes.

  • Develops and maintains production process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training packages, and assembly checklists.

  • Evaluates manufacturing methods and processes for structures including forming, machining, heat treatment, fastening, composite layup or repair, and jigging or fixturing.

  • Performs producibility and manufacturability reviews and drives design-for-manufacturing recommendations with engineering and design teams.

  • Leads EBOM to MBOM reconciliation activities for structural assemblies and ensures configuration integrity between engineering and production documentation.

  • Authors and validates installation work instructions, tooling specifications, and process control documents consistent with company and customer standards.

  • Conducts data analysis including production metrics, NCRs, and rework rates to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

  • Uses REDARS, GOLDesp, Microsoft Excel, CATIA, and model-based instructions for manufacturing planning and documentation.

  • Supports program-level manufacturing plans, schedule milestones, and deliverables, and provides regular status reports to program leadership.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

  • Experience in REDARS for structural and manufacturing documentation.

  • Experience in GOLDesp for supply chain and inventory management.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Experience with CATIA for 3D modeling and design.

  • Experience with model-based instructions (MBI) for manufacturing planning.

  • Preferred: Ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and develop solutions consistent with organization objectives.

  • Preferred: Expert-level proficiency in REDARS, GOLDesp, Microsoft Excel, CATIA, IVT, and model-based instructions.
