Our mission is to empower individuals to achieve better mental health through holistic and evidence-based approaches. We focus on creating a supportive and nurturing environment for both our clients and our staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while being integrated within an outpatient office setting. You will have access to modern telehealth tools and resources that enable effective communication with clients. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a well-structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. A sign-on bonus is available for new hires, emphasizing our commitment to attracting top talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing stress, achieving relaxation, and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to discern individual client challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, personalizing mindfulness practices to meet their unique needs.
  • Guide clients through various mindfulness exercises, such as meditation and breathing techniques, to foster self-awareness and emotional balance.
  • Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, effective stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.
  • Incorporate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions to directly address specific mental health concerns and to support clients' overall personal development.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to integrate mindfulness practices into a holistic treatment plan, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and the progress of mindfulness interventions, aligning with best practices for client management.
  • Engage in personal mindfulness practices, self-reflection, and continuous education to enhance your expertise in mindfulness-based methods.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client population seeking mental health support, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and those looking to improve their overall mental well-being. Your expertise in mindfulness will be instrumental in helping clients cultivate coping mechanisms that allow for personal growth and better management of their mental health challenges.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of mindfulness practices; training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of creating a supportive and non-judgmental therapeutic atmosphere for clients.
  • A passion for ensuring positive mental health outcomes through innovative and compassionate care.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering mindfulness practices as part of therapeutic interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead group therapy sessions or workshops with a focus on mindfulness and stress management.
  • Experience working in an outpatient setting or similar clinical environments is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:

  • A comprehensive healthcare benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage to ensure your health and well-being.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to help you prepare for your future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holidays to support your work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including continued education in mindfulness techniques and therapeutic practices.
  • A collaborative work environment that emphasizes personal and professional growth.
