Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking to enhance their emotional well-being and resilience.
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify each client’s unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, crafting personalized mindfulness strategies accordingly.
  • Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques aimed at improving self-awareness and emotional regulation.
  • Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes that educate participants on mindfulness practices, stress management, and techniques for building resilience.
  • Integrate mindfulness approaches into individual therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to meet the specific mental health needs of each client.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment plan that incorporates mindfulness techniques and addresses comprehensive mental health needs.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client progress, intervention strategies, and treatment plans to ensure continuity of care.
  • Commit to regular personal mindfulness practice and engage in ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of MBSR practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will impact a diverse client base seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. Your role will focus on empowering clients through mindfulness practices to enhance their resilience and coping strategies, facilitating personal growth and long-term wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality therapeutic services with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling the creation of a calming and supportive environment for clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and integrating mindfulness into therapeutic practices.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for remote counseling.
  • Additional certifications or training in mindfulness or holistic therapeutic approaches are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
