Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify each client’s unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, tailoring mindfulness practices accordingly.
  • Deliver sophisticated mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, to aid clients in achieving relaxation, self-awareness, and emotional balance.

  • Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, stress management, and resilience-building to foster community among clients.
  • Integrate mindfulness approaches within individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns and supporting clients on their journey of personal growth.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, therapy sessions, and implemented mindfulness interventions to monitor effectiveness and inform future treatment plans.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development, including participation in workshops and training focused on mindfulness methodologies and self-reflection practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and those seeking personal growth through mindfulness practices. Our clients range in age and backgrounds, creating a rich tapestry of experiences that inform therapeutic approaches and enhance our service delivery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
  • Skill in integrating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic interventions is essential for this role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the creation of a comforting and supportive therapeutic relationship.
Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in an outpatient setting working with diverse populations is highly regarded.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to help secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy and paid holidays to support work-life balance.
