Job description

Position Summary
This Assistant District Attorney position is a full-time position to be filled in the District Attorney's office for Menominee-Shawano County, located in the scenic Shawano, Wisconsin. This is a State position in the unclassified service.
Shawano is within an hour drive from both Green Bay and Appleton, Wisconsin. You'll find a variety of activities all around Shawano County, some upcoming activities include: the 37th Annual Caroline Lion's Club Colorama Annual Trail Ride, Shawano Downtown Octoberfest, Shawano Farmer's Market and many other activities in and around Shawano lake and Cloverleaf lakes. Downtown Shawano has numerous shops and events hosted throughout the year.
Salary Information
The starting salary for the position will be $80,267 annually ($38.59 per hour).
Job Details
Attorneys who are currently employed by the State of Wisconsin are invited to apply and may be able to transfer at their current pay rate. Attorneys who have left the position of Wisconsin elected District Attorney or Assistant District Attorney within the last five years may be able to be hired at a wage rate above the minimum.
Qualifications
Only attorneys who have been admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin may be hired.
