Coffee & Food Expert and Brand Ambassador Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Starbucks. Provide a unique coffee and food-forward experience for every customer, including keeping up with production demand throughout the day. Serve as a coffee and food expert, providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage products and the ingredients used in those products.

Demonstrate impeccable composure and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations. Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events. Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.

Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and standards. Contribute to a positive team environment. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Service Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and observing customer cues. Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers. Support the store events model and its execution.

Take responsibility for the full-service model in applicable locations. Sales Maintain knowledge of a wide variety of rotating food, beverage, whole bean, and retail items. Engage customers and leverage selling skills through recommendations, suggested food, beverage, and coffee pairings, and equipment demonstrations.

Operations Follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift. Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and products as needed. Operate in an environment with rapid innovation and minimal turnaround time from innovation to product and service delivery to the customer.

Support inventory management, receiving, and storage of deliveries. Utilize production planning tools to ensure item availability. Prepare, finish, and assemble beverage and food items using the necessary equipment.
