Position Overview

Spring Health Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our innovative telehealth team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status, identify symptoms, and understand their unique challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices in mental health care, incorporating client feedback, cultural considerations, and specific therapeutic goals.
• Provide personalized one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to facilitate healing and growth.
• Facilitate group or family therapy sessions as required, fostering an environment of trust and open dialogue among participants.
• Monitor therapeutic progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on client feedback and observable changes in mental health conditions.
• Thoroughly document all client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, ensuring clarity, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other mental health professionals and specialists, to provide holistic and effective care tailored to clients’ requirements.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions, workshops, and literature engagement to remain current with innovative mental health treatments and technologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse client population comprising individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and more. Your efforts will be directed towards helping clients navigate their emotional struggles, build resilience, and improve their overall mental health, thereby playing an integral part in their journey towards well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) is a must.
• At least two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
• A strong understanding of mental health treatment options and evidence-based practices to inform your clinical approach.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs) and various telehealth technologies that support efficient client management.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth services and an understanding of the unique aspects of delivering care via virtual platforms.
• Familiarity with specific treatment methodologies relevant to a wide client demographic can be advantageous.
• Prior involvement in community service initiatives or public mental health education is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 95,000, commensurate with experience, in addition to a sign-on bonus.
