Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to provide individual, couples, and family counseling sessions that promote healing and personal growth.
• Document all counseling sessions accurately and systematically in client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines regarding confidentiality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage with clients’ support systems, offering guidance and resources to families to enhance treatment outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC role at Spring Health Counseling Services involves working with a diverse client population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a counselor, you will address a broad spectrum of issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in providing support and fostering resilience within the community.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience in a clinical or community setting.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage strong communication and interpersonal skills to support client engagement and rapport-building.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for case documentation and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy.
• Strong background in crisis intervention and risk assessment techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for the Licensed Professional Counselor position is between USD 80,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
