Job description


Spectrum Healthcare Services is seeking a temporary Physician Assistant in Hamilton, OH.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provides primary care services to employees of a business and their dependents.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs.
  • Recordsphysical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis, based onpatients' condition. Provides written home-going instructions.
  • Collaborates with Physicians and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan as necessary.
  • Prescribes or recommends medications or other forms of treatment.
  • Refers patients to Physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment.
  • Maintains electronic medical records.

  • Setting: Employer-Based Wellness Clinic
  • Job Type: Temporary
  • Duration: Approx. 13 weeks
  • Shift: Monday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, Tuesday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $60.00-$68.00/hour
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in primary care or family medicine preferred
  • DEA required
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
