Work Environment

This role operates within a remote setting, allowing for seamless interaction with clients while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Regular team meetings and case consultations are conducted via telehealth platforms, ensuring that you remain connected with your colleagues and the broader treatment team. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand each client's unique psychological needs, utilizing evidence-based evaluation techniques.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that include therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, treatment progress, and updates, adhering to HIPAA and regulatory standards to ensure confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with fellow clinicians, psychiatrists, and specialized mental health professionals to deliver coordinated care that addresses all facets of client health.
  • Participate in ongoing peer review meetings and case consultations aimed at enhancing treatment strategies and therapeutic outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and local resources to promote informed decision-making.
  • Stay current with the latest research trends and advancements in mental health therapy, integrating new knowledge into practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served by Solaris Health System encompass a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related issues, and adjustments to life changes. Our goal is to provide holistic and client-centered care, respecting the individuality of each person's experiences.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Must possess a valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
  • Experience in solution-focused therapy practices and an ability to adapt approaches based on client assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for effective client care.
  • A passion for mental health and a desire to support clients in their journey towards recovery.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working in a community health setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and technologies is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with diverse populations and culturally competent care practices.
