About Us
Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program specialized for children ages 2-8 years ,with a focus on character and skill development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication. We are passionate about what we do, and are looking to add people to our team who feel the same!
Compensation
Our coaches start at $18/hour, with an opportunity to increase to $24/hour based on experience level .Session timeframe is 1 hour in total and coaches are generally assigned between 4-8 sessions per week pending coaches availability and willingness to travel.

Job description/responsibilities
Preparation:
  • Completion of training program
  • Reviews online curriculum (prepared for you ahead of time, and aligned with Pennsylvania early education standards)
  • Maintains equipment in proper condition and arrives on time to set-up field for session

Coaching:
  • Ensures the safety and well-being of every child interested in your care
  • For childcare sites, gathers children from classroom and returns after the session
  • Conducts and prepares for fun and positive 35- to 45-minute sessions, following the weekly Soccer Shots curriculum

Communication/Administration:
  • Effectively communicates using age-appropriate language that aligns with supplied curriculum
  • Communicates timely with the supervisor about any changes, challenges, or important information
  • Completes the online attendance sheet directly, following each session
  • Returns maintained equipment and leftover supplies to the supervisor upon completion of each season

The job description above is a part-time position requiring fewer than 15 hours of work per week. Soccer Shots programs are seasonal, that's employment is also seasonal .All employment is at-will.
In addition to the above, a successful candidate must process and submit a Child Abuse History Clearance, PA Criminal Background check, and FBI Fingerprints. For candidates without these on file, Soccer Shots will help facilitate these

  • We put every Soccer Shots coach through our comprehensive training program to receive certification that includes learning the use of provided developmentally appropriate coaching curriculum.
  • We constantly reevaluate an update our curriculum to stay current childhood education, standards
  • Our age-appropriate curriculum, places an emphasis on character development as well as skill building
  • Our coaches, attend training meetings at the beginning of each season
  • Our coaches are routinely evaluated and provided feedback for growth and development
  • Our coach selection process evaluates not only the ability to coach soccer, but, more importantly, the ability to engage and inspire children
