Soccer Shots Harrisburg & York - Coaching & Operations InternshipSoccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program focused on character development for kids ages 2-8. We're looking for energetic and responsible interns who want hands-on experience in coaching, business operations, and professional development.
What You'll Do
As a Soccer Shots intern, you'll serve as both a coach and an active member of our operations team. Responsibilities include:
On the Field
  • Coach weekly soccer sessions (safety, fun, and positive engagement are top priorities)
  • Create an energetic, encouraging environment for children
  • Represent Soccer Shots as a role model and "face" of our program

In the Office & Community
  • Assist with scheduling, equipment prep, and season planning
  • Support marketing and customer service (social media, parent communication, promo events)
  • Help with coach training and team meetings

What You'll Gain

Internship Details
  • Length: 10-14 weeks / minimum 120 hours
  • Schedule: Flexible mix of weekday office hours, coaching sessions, and Saturday mornings
  • Timing: Internships are available year-round and can align with any season:
    • Fall: September - November
    • Winter: January - March
    • Spring: March - May
    • Summer: June - August
  • Compensation: $11/hour
  • Location: Soccer Shots Complex in Middletown, PA, plus program sites across Cumberland, Dauphin, and York Counties (sessions scheduled as close as possible to your residence).
