Job description

Lead Robotics Engineer
Remote
$125-175k base salary
I'm working with a global Digital Engineering and Technology organization that has built a dedicated robotics practice focused on developing and integrating advanced robotic systems for real-world industrial applications.
They're looking for a Lead Robotics Engineer to take technical ownership of projects spanning robotic arms, humanoid and legged robots, mobile platforms, end-effectors and integrated automation systems.
You'll lead engineering workstreams from technical discovery through development and deployment, working across motion planning, controls, simulation, hardware integration and system performance while mentoring engineers and setting technical standards.
Key experience:
  • Strong C++ and Python development within Linux environments
  • ROS/ROS2 and MoveIt2
  • Motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics and control
  • Robotic arms, mobile robotics, humanoids, legged robotics and/or industrial automation
  • Simulation-based robotics development; NVIDIA Isaac Sim highly desirable
  • Sensors, actuators, end-effectors and hardware/software integration
  • Experience leading robotics engineering teams or technical workstreams
  • CI/CD, Git, CMake, GTest and modern software engineering practices

This is a great opportunity to join a growing robotics practice working at the intersection of advanced robotics and industrial automation, with exposure to some of the most exciting platforms entering real-world manufacturing environments.
