Technical Sourcer

About the Role

At Sigma Computing, we're building a world-class team to power the future of cloud analytics. As a Technical Sourcer, you will play a critical role in helping us scale our engineering organization by identifying and engaging exceptional technical talent.

In this role, you will partner closely with engineering leaders and the recruiting team to build strong pipelines of high-caliber candidates across multiple technical functions. Sigma is growing quickly, and your work will directly impact our ability to hire the talent that drives our success.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with engineering leadership and technical recruiters to understand hiring priorities and support critical technical roles.
  • Proactively source, engage, and nurture a pipeline of high-quality candidates for open positions across assigned engineering teams.
  • Develop and execute creative, data-driven sourcing strategies to identify top technical talent.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to increase employee referrals for high-priority roles.
  • Leverage a variety of channels-including social platforms, professional networks, sourcing tools, and industry communities-to identify and connect with candidates.
  • Track and optimize sourcing effectiveness by measuring response rates, pipeline health, and conversion metrics.
  • Maintain strong recruiting hygiene by accurately documenting all sourcing and recruiting activity in the ATS (Greenhouse).
Requirements
  • 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience, ideally within a technology company, startup, or agency environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage technical candidates effectively.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools, recruiting platforms, and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Demonstrated grit, persistence, and intellectual curiosity with a strong drive for continuous improvement.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently, solve problems, and confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Compensation

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 USD (depending on experience and location) Plus equity, annual bonus eligibility, and comprehensive benefits.
