Job description

Position is contingent upon contract award and funding. Entarian is looking for a Senior Storage Administrator for a mixed and growing environment of various storage Hardware. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Work with the existing OS and Storage teams to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers and storage systems for the program and its customers * Assist with implementing new system Hardware and Software and provide input for developing local operating procedures and policies as needed * Be adept at monitoring the ongoing operation of the systems and providing utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed * Ability to recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to help expand, upgrade, and increase efficiencies to the current environment Salary range: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 Minimum Qualifications * Active DoD Secret Security Clearance * CompTIA Security+ * Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, RedHat, Palo, etc.) - can be waived for 30 days after project join date * Experience in Computer Science or IT * Minimum three years' experience in design, installation, configuration, security, and maintenance of highly available enterprise data storage systems * Minimum three years' experience maintain storage and network policies and standards * Minimum three years' experience refreshing data from one environment to another at the request of the application development staff * Minimum three years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution * Minimum three years' experience with MS-Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux environments * Minimum three years' experience administering applicable storage networks * Minimum three years' experience with VMWare 7.x or greater * Minimum three years' experience with network communication (IP based) * Installation and configuration experience of backup SW with Windows Server 2019, Solaris 11, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and higher * Experience with both Windows Powershell and Bash shell scripting * Strong CLI skills * Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player Desired Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience * Three or more years' experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCA-V, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA) About Us Formed through the strategic union of Sev1Tech and ERT, Entarian is a premier provider of mission-critical engineering and technology solutions.
