Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly evidence-based counseling sessions for individual adults through secure live video communication, ensuring a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric providers and fellow counselors to design and execute comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Utilize automatically administered symptom self-assessments and progress tracking to evaluate and update treatment strategies, ensuring a responsive approach to client care.
• Engage in regular consultation with the team, receiving and providing support to enhance overall treatment effectiveness and counselor skill development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will be predominantly focused on adult clients who are navigating the complexities of trauma and mental health challenges. You will interact with a diverse array of individuals seeking to reclaim their lives, each bringing unique background stories and experiences that require your expertise and individualized attention.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or other closely related mental health fields is required.
• An active and unrestricted professional license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Please note that we cannot accept interns or those with limited permits who require supervision for individual therapy.
• A successful candidate will demonstrate independence in managing client schedules and case management, along with possessing strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• There must be no disciplinary actions on your professional license to ensure trust and quality of care.

Preferred Experience

While specific experience is not mandatory, candidates with previous telehealth counseling or trauma-informed therapy backgrounds will find their skills especially relevant in our dynamic setting. Familiarity with digital health tools and virtual client management systems will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend, supporting your well-being as you support others.
