As a Busser, you help create a clean, welcoming environment that supports both guests and team members.
Position Summary
The Busser supports restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness in the dining room, assisting servers, and ensuring guests have a positive and efficient dining experience. This role is essential to maintaining the flow of service in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant environment.
This is a non-exempt position that works closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Essential Functions

As a Busser, you will:
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently to maintain dining room flow
- Assist servers and bartenders by delivering food, beverages, and service items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, including floors, tables, and service areas
- Refill beverages such as water and assist with guest needs when appropriate
- Stock service stations with supplies, including utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to provide excellent guest service
- Adapt to varying responsibilities during shifts based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and service-oriented
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation
Pay Range: $10.00 per hour – $13.00 per hour
Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.
This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
