We’re Hiring: Sourcing Specialist II (Hybrid - Charlotte, NC)

Randstad is partnering with a leading Fortune 150 energy provider—one of the largest energy holding companies in the U.S.—to add three experienced Sourcing Specialist II professionals to their team!

• Position: Sourcing Specialist II

• Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)

• Duration: 1-Year Contract

• Pay Rate: Up to $46.67/hr

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday, flexible daytime hours) What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree + 5–10 years of related work experience in Supply Chain.

• Ability to travel occasionally (overnight/plant visits; reimbursed travel expenses).

Preferred & Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in major utilities supporting power plants, outages, or capital projects.

• Demonstrated expertise sourcing labor/services, materials, and engineered power plant equipment.

• contract negotiation and financial analysis skills.

• Familiarity with e-Sourcing tools (e.g., PowerAdvocate) and ERP systems (e.g., CAS, Maximo).

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead high-value sourcing strategies, drive supplier negotiations, and manage complex categories supporting the Regulated and Renewables Energy (RRE) business unit.

• Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sourcing strategies, handle RFQs/RFPs, and manage Alliance & Master Service Agreements.

• Negotiation & Cost Savings: Partner with senior supplier management to drive cost avoidance, process efficiencies, and favorable contract terms.

• Relationship & Contract Management: Manage supplier relationships, dispute resolutions, price changes, and invoice management.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside project managers to support equipment bid events, outages, and capital projects.
