**This position is only considering candidates local to our San Antonio, TX offices as it will be on a hybrid on-site schedule**
Job Profile Summary
Makes outbound sales contact (including cold calling) and pursues sales leads to develop a portfolio of buying customers. Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customer records and completes required documentation. Identifies and qualifies prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems. May have an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories. Responsible for adhering to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed.

Key Responsibilities

Other Incidental tasks related to the job, as necessary.

Utilizes provided information to contact potential customers regarding Rackspace products.

Conduct needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how the Rackspace solution will speak to those needs. Researches market segments to identify potential customers and makes first contact.

Develop new business via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the Rackspace solutions and identify appropriate buyers within the target market.

Prepare and analyze leads pipeline reports and dashboards.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
