Our Human Services team helps state and municipal human services and economic development agencies keep their promises—responsibly and sustainably—to the children, adults, and families they serve. Specific Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • The individual will gather, review, and analyze county Adoption Assistance, Prevention, RMTS, and Foster Care case information within a geographic region in the Commonwealth.
  • He/she is tasked with reviewing financial invoices for state and federal funding.
  • He/she provides education, information, and technical assistance to county office personnel and eligibility workers.
  • He/she is assigned to a geographical area within the 67 counties of Pennsylvania but must be willing to travel throughout the Commonwealth to meet scheduling and staffing needs.
  • He/she will be expected to learn and apply federal and state policy and procedures for Title IV-E eligibility and claiming for both care and maintenance and administrative spending.
Required Skills:
  • Detail oriented and quick learner.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, Preferably Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate effectively with counties to identify and correct compliance errors as well as recognize and enact best practice.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.
  • Must have own transportation for in-state travel *50%+ travel throughout the state of PA
Education:

A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in business, accounting, social work, public policy, or other closely related fields.

Experience:
  • A minimum of three years relevant work experience in the fields of child welfare and Title IV-E eligibility, policy, or invoicing.
  • A minimum of three years’ work experience in financial management and invoicing for federal and state funds preferred.
Compensation:

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role.

In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

Range: $61,200 - $65,000
