Corporate Sales Trainer / Sales Operations Leader

Automotive Services | Multi-Location Operations

Washington, DC (Headquarters) | Regional Travel (DC, MD, VA)

Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000 + Performance Incentives + Full Benefits

About the Opportunity

We are representing a well-established, multi-location automotive services organization operating across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, with approximately 18 locations.

This company provides a full suite of services including:

  • Auto repair & maintenance
  • Collision repair
  • Towing & roadside services
  • Automotive parts & supply

With a strong operational foundation in place, the organization is now focused on scaling performance, standardizing processes, and driving revenue growth across all locations.

They are seeking a Corporate Sales Trainer / Sales Operations Leader to bring structure, consistency, and accountability to their sales execution across every branch.

The Role

This is a high-impact, field-facing leadership role responsible for building and implementing standardized sales systems, training programs, and performance metrics across all locations.

You will work directly with branch managers and frontline teams to:

  • Improve sales performance
  • Eliminate inconsistencies between locations
  • Install scalable, repeatable processes
  • Drive accountability through KPIs and scorecards

This role will be based out of headquarters on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC, with regular travel between locations across DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Process Standardization

  • Develop and implement consistent sales processes, scripts, and communication standards across all branches
  • Ensure uniform customer experience and service delivery
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies between locations and correct them

Training & Development

  • Train branch managers and staff on sales best practices, customer communication, and conversion techniques
  • Create ongoing training programs and materials
  • Coach teams in real-time to improve performance

Performance Management & KPIs

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all locations
  • Build scorecards and dashboards for productivity, conversion rates, ticket size, and customer retention
  • Hold teams accountable to performance metrics

Operational Alignment

  • Partner with leadership to align sales strategy with operational execution
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflow, communication, or leadership
  • Recommend and implement improvements

Field Leadership

  • Travel between locations to ensure consistent execution and adoption
  • Act as a hands-on leader and change agent within the organization

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in sales training, sales operations, or multi-location sales leadership
  • Experience building and implementing scalable sales processes and systems
  • Strong background in KPI development, performance tracking, and accountability structures
  • Experience working across multiple locations or distributed teams
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority

Preferred Background

  • Automotive services, retail, or service-based industries
  • Experience in high-volume, customer-facing environments
  • Background working with branch-based or franchise-style operations

Core Traits

  • Systems thinker who can simplify and standardize complexity
  • Strong communicator and trainer
  • Data-driven with a focus on measurable performance improvement
  • Hands-on leader who thrives in the field
  • High accountability mindset with a focus on results

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base + performance-based compensation ($100K–$150K total)
  • Bonus and incentive structure tied to performance
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company contribution
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Long-term growth opportunity within a stable, expanding organization

Why This Role

  • Opportunity to build and standardize a sales engine across 18 locations
  • High visibility with executive leadership
  • Direct impact on revenue growth and operational performance
  • Ability to create lasting, scalable systems within a growing business
