• Conduct thorough patient assessments by taking detailed medical histories, performing comprehensive physical examinations, and utilizing diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Collaborate closely with supervising physicians to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient.
• Perform various medical procedures, including minor surgical interventions, under the direct supervision of attending physicians, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment modalities, and lifestyle strategies to promote health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date medical documentation, including patient encounters, clinical assessments, treatment plans, and follow-up care to facilitate continuity of care.

You will have the chance to work with a diverse patient population in an urgent care setting, addressing a variety of medical issues ranging from routine health concerns to acute conditions that require immediate attention. Your role will be essential in ensuring that patients receive expedient and effective care, focusing on their unique health needs and challenges.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active state licensure in New York to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Demonstrated strong clinical skills with an ability to work independently within the defined scope of practice.
• A commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, good communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience working in an urgent care or emergency setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline patient documentation and data management.
• Active engagement in continuing medical education (CME) to keep abreast of best practices in urgent care medicine.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
