Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to their circumstances.
  • Maintain clear and open communications with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other relevant parties regarding clients' progress and treatment strategies.
  • Organize and provide a tentative schedule to supervisors regarding appointments, home visits, and follow-ups to monitor client advancement and needs effectively.
  • Facilitate in-home observations and collaborate with clients through home visits, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and discussions around care objectives.
  • Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, offering insights and feedback to enhance treatment protocols and patient care approaches.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records are maintained for all clients.
  • Develop and deliver training to staff on program implementation and documentation best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison with the public and the mental health community to promote services and improve accessibility for individuals seeking care.
  • Assist in the creation and refinement of training materials aimed at enhancing service delivery and program efficacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your ability to establish rapport and empathize with individuals from varying backgrounds will be critical to fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and personal growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience is required, ideally within a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards within the mental health profession, with an aptitude for critical thinking and ethical decision-making.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to work collaboratively with clients and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and technology relevant to counseling practices.
Preferred Experience
  • Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment are highly desirable.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and refining treatment plans tailored to meet the needs of unique client populations.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
