The Full-Time Pilot & Company Builder will support demanding tactical missions and work alongside exceptional professionals while contributing leadership, initiative, and operational expertise across the organization.
Depending on the successful candidate's interests, experience, and program assignment, this position may contribute to flight operations, standardization and evaluation, instructor development, safety programs, program management, business development, customer relations, training system development, strategic growth initiatives, new aircraft programs, and executive leadership. The strongest candidates are builders, mentors, and innovators who naturally improve the people and organizations around them.
Requirements
  • Former military pilot with tactical aviation experience.

  • Experience building teams, developing people, improving organizations, or creating new aviation capabilities and programs.

  • Experience in standardization and evaluation, safety, program management, business development, customer relations, or training system development.

  • Strategic thinking, curiosity, emotional intelligence, customer focus, and operational excellence.

  • A humble, team-first leadership style and a commitment to continuous learning.

  • Ability to solve difficult problems, operate with limited direction, and translate ideas into practical results.

Career growth at RAVN is not limited to accumulating flight hours. As the company expands, high-performing pilots may have opportunities to influence nearly every part of the organization and pursue positions such as:
  • Chief Pilot.

  • Director of Flight Operations.

  • Program Manager.

  • Site Lead.

  • Business Development Director.

  • Operations Executive.

  • Vice President or other executive leadership roles.

The people RAVN hires today will help determine what the company becomes over the next decade. This role is an opportunity to continue serving, continue flying, and help build what comes next.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to meet and maintain medical and physical standards applicable to assigned flight duties.

  • Ability to safely enter, exit, and operate assigned aircraft and associated flight equipment.

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to handle or operate aircraft controls, tools, and equipment.

  • Ability to work in aircraft, hangar, ramp, and flight-line environments with exposure to loud noise, fumes, varying weather conditions, and other operational hazards.

  • Specific work hours will be determined by operational, departmental, and contractual requirements.
