The Phoenix Rising Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote position. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and create individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling services utilizing best practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Engage in regular supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Promote a therapeutic alliance with clients by providing empathetic and non-judgmental support while maintaining professional boundaries.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborative case discussions to facilitate holistic, patient-centered care.
  • Address client crises effectively, implementing de-escalation strategies and appropriate interventions.
  • Support clients in identifying and overcoming barriers to accessing mental health services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is varied, encompassing individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. At Phoenix Rising Counseling Center, our counselors work with adolescents and adults through virtual platforms, ensuring that care is accessible regardless of geographical constraints. You will play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of individuals by providing them with tools and resources to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Qualifications
  • A master’s level degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited university.
  • Valid and active professional license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) to practice unsupervised mental health therapy in Florida.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in providing psychotherapy to adults.
  • Strong proficiency in conducting intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment planning.
  • Excellent written communication skills for detailed session documentation and treatment reporting.
  • A clean disciplinary record with no actions taken against you by any licensing board.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience in utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapeutic methods effectively.
  • Experience in working with diverse populations and understanding the unique challenges faced by individuals in various communities.
  • Prior familiarity with telehealth services and virtual counseling tools is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
