Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  • Provide both individual and family therapy based on the specific requirements identified during assessments, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Complete necessary documentation including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in accordance with specified time frames.
  • Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans where applicable, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stable functioning in their daily lives.
  • Create detailed discharge plans to facilitate smooth transitions for clients as they progress in their treatment.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as the policies and procedures of Northeast Health System, ensuring compliance in every aspect of care delivery.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education, maintaining licensure and personal competence in the field.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster a team-oriented approach to client care.
  • Complete all required licensure and mandatory training promptly.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse range of clients at Phoenix Rising Counseling Center, addressing varying mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our emphasis on culturally sensitive practices ensures that each client feels understood and valued, leading to improved therapeutic outcomes. By addressing stigma and enhancing access to mental health services, our aim is to empower clients from all backgrounds to achieve lasting change in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
  • A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of Washington (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) is required.
Preferred Experience

We highly value candidates who have at least two years of relevant clinical experience in providing individual and family therapy, particularly in community health settings. Previous experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
