Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine client needs and establish therapeutic goals.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Engage in ongoing therapeutic sessions, adapting techniques and approaches based on individual client responses.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment progress, and clinical notes.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals as needed to ensure holistic support for clients, especially in school settings.
  • Participate in professional development activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
  • Foster a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship that encourages client engagement and personal growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A master's level degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited university.

  • Two or more years of experience providing clinical psychotherapy to individuals, with a focus on adults.
  • Proficient in thorough intake assessments, diagnostic processes, and strategic treatment planning.
  • Strong writing abilities to effectively document client interactions and progress.
  • A clean professional record devoid of disciplinary actions by any licensing board.
  • Licensed to practice in California.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or other evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings, enhancing the understanding of youth-related issues.
