Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client needs, strengths, and challenges, contributing to solution-focused treatment discussions.
• Deliver therapeutic services, utilizing evidence-based practices to empower clients and their families in managing mental health and substance use issues.
• Facilitate family sessions and support groups, providing resources and tools to families to encourage healthy communication and foster a positive support system.
• Monitor client progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes, and engage in continuous professional development to stay current on best practices in social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals experiencing substance use disorders, often in conjunction with mental health challenges. Clients include a diverse range of demographics, with a significant portion being older adults who may require specialized interventions addressing their unique needs. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their recovery paths, developing coping strategies, and promoting overall wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.
• Proven ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and application of the latest mental health practices.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, with a preference for those working with older adults.
• Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
