Job description

We are searching for an Account Service Representative to join our dynamic Life Benefit Solutions team of high-achieving professionals dedicated to delivering an exceptional client experience. This is a fixed 12 month term, full-time, hybrid position based in Winnipeg, MB, with some flexibility for remote work.
The Account Service Representative will play a key role in managing and supporting a portfolio of Group Insurance & Retirement (Pension) clients.

The Account Service Representative will:

  • Manage an assigned block of clients, delivering consistent and proactive service
  • Host employee meetings and training sessions for plan administrators (in-person and virtual)
  • Educate plan members and administrators about their group insurance and retirement benefits
  • Respond to client inquiries via email, phone, or meetings with professionalism and care
  • Act as a liaison between clients, insurance carriers, and internal teams
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with new and existing clients
  • Collect and processing documentation accurately and on time
  • Identify and implement solutions to maintain a high standard of service
  • Ensure service standards are met and tracked regularly
  • Travel to client sites, including multi-day overnight trips on a regular basis (driver's license and reliable, late-model vehicle required)
  • Support additional tasks and projects as needed

To be Successful as an Account Service Representative with Life Benefit Solutions, you will need:

  • Experience in group insurance, pension/retirement, or a related field (preferred, not required)
  • A passion for delivering excellent client service
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in community engagement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per annum.


This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc.). The actual base salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be able to provide additional details of the total compensation for this role.
