Job description

Our client, a leader in retail, is looking to bring on a Photo Retoucher! Type : Contract Pay Range: $36/hr. Duration : ASAP - through 12/31/26 Location : Broomfield, CO (onsite 4-5 days/week) What You'll Do: Retouching & Craft Retouch across categories: Product (still life, detail, e-comm), people (portraits, lifestyle, editorial, campaign), and internal brand imagery. Deliver across channels: Polish assets for toolkits, campaigns, partnership activations, PR, PDPs, social content, and internal comms. Own the finish: Color correction, clipping, compositing, skin work, cleanup, and final delivery — with a light, artful touch that keeps imagery feeling natural and elevated. Maintain brand consistency: Ensure color, tone, and finish stay true to brand guidelines across every asset and channel. Bring taste to the work: Elevate imagery with a fashion-informed eye — knowing when to push, when to pull back, and how to keep the craft feeling premium. Technical & AI-Driven Efficiency Leverage AI and digital tools: Use existing and emerging AI generative tools to speed up workflows without compromising quality. Build smart pipelines: Develop and maintain actions, presets, templates, and batch processes to streamline high-volume work. Stay technically sharp: Deep proficiency in Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, Bridge, and Camera Raw; comfortable with plug-ins, scripts, and automation. Optimize continuously: Identify and implement new tools, techniques, and workflows that make the team faster, better, and more scalable. Keep files clean: Maintain organized working files, layered PSDs, version control, etc. What You Bring 4–6+ years of professional retouching experience, ideally a mix of in-house and agency/studio, with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle experience strongly preferred. A portfolio that shows range and taste — clean product work, natural and elevated people/skin retouching, and an artful, editorial finish. Technical mastery: Expert in Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and color management. AI fluency: Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and a point of view on how to integrate them responsibly into pro workflows. Detail obsession: You catch the things others miss and you never let a file go out that isn't right. Speed and nimbleness: You work quickly and pivot easily when timelines shift or briefs change. Self-starter mindset: You run your own schedule, spot inefficiencies, and drive improvements without waiting to be asked. Collaborative spirit: Comfortable partnering closely with photographers and creatives. Fresh perspective: You stay on top of trends in fashion, editorial, and content — and you bring that sensibility into the work. Nice-to-Haves Experience retouching for global brands, e-commerce at scale, or multi-market campaigns. Fashion, beauty, or editorial retouching credits with recognizable brands or publications. Compositing, AI and CGI integration experience. Motion/video color and cleanup skills for digital assets. Familiarity with Figma, Frame.io, DAM platforms, and creative toolkit systems. Experience building or contributing to retouching guidelines, style guides, or QA processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
