Job Description :

Data Engineer - Cloudera with Azure Native ServicesLocation: PCS CA, TorontoYears of Experience: 7-10 YearsJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Cloudera and Azure Native Services to join our consultancy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in core banking implementations or fintech engineering, with a focus on data processing and integration using technologies such as Spark, Python, Scala, Java, Kafka, HDFS, and Hive. This role requires excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder management and the ability to work in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid environments.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement data solutions using Cloudera and Azure Native Services.Integrate APIs and manage data pipelines with Kafka technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native architectures and microservices.Provide production support for SQL Server and ensure data integrity and availability.Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage multiple priorities effectively.Mandatory Skills:Strong programming skills in Python or Golang.Extensive experience with Kafka technologies.Proficiency in cloud-native architectures and microservices.Experience with Azure, Docker, and container orchestration.Understanding of core banking concepts, ledger management, and payment workflows.Preferred Skills:Experience with Vault smart contract development and workflow orchestration.Familiarity with SQL Server production support processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in core banking implementations or fintech engineering.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
