Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving operational excellence and technological advancement across the organization. This role provides strategic and tactical leadership to all manufacturing and supply chain functions, ensuring the company consistently delivers superior products, achieves aggressive growth targets, and maintains industry‑leading profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with the CEO and Executive Management to develop and execute the company’s long‑term strategic plan, with direct accountability for operational performance and results.
  • Establish a compelling technical vision and roadmap that positions LEEBOY as a leader in innovation, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high‑performing team of directors and managers across Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Environmental Health & Safety.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and elevate product quality and reliability.
  • Oversee the development and execution of annual operating plans, capital budgets, and resource allocation to support strategic priorities.
  • Champion the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies, automation, and process improvements that deliver competitive advantage.
  • Build and maintain strong cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Design Engineering and Product Development to ensure customer needs are translated into winning products.
  • Represent the company in key customer relationships, industry forums, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure world‑class compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions to consistently meet or exceed financial and operational targets.
Supervisory Responsibilities

The COO provides executive leadership to all core operational functions. This includes full responsibility for talent development, organizational design, performance management, and succession planning across multiple departments. The role demands a hands‑on leader who builds capability while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

RequirementsEducation & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, or a related technical field required; MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
  • Proven track record of leading complex manufacturing organizations and delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Skills & Attributes
  • Deep understanding of modern manufacturing technologies, lean principles, and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels — from the shop floor to the Boardroom.
  • Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools is preferred.
