Substitute Para Transit Driver
Join PACE's Dedicated Team in Milford, Delaware
At PACE, we're committed to expediting your recovery by providing exceptional post-acute and skilled nursing care to our patients. As a Substitute Para Transit Driver, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our participants receive safe and reliable transportation to their destinations.

Job Summary:
We're seeking a reliable and compassionate Substitute Bus Driver to provide on-call transportation support for our PACE Your LIFE program. As a key member of our transportation team, you'll help ensure continuity of service and participant safety across all routes and destinations.
Responsibilities:
• Provide safe and reliable transportation for PACE Your LIFE participants via our para-transit bus
• Support scheduled and unscheduled coverage needs, ensuring seamless service continuity
• Maintain accurate records and reports of transportation activities and incidents
• Collaborate with the Transportation Coordinator to address transportation-related needs and concerns
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor, consistently demonstrating a patient-centered approach
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of experience in a transportation-related field, with a focus on para-transit or public transportation
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• Ability to work flexible on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and assist passengers as needed
