Overview

Salary: $38,470 - $50,000


Location: Mokena, IL

If you enjoy staying organized and supporting a team, this role could be a great fit.

As the Communications Administrative Assistant, you'll help keep schedules organized, meetings prepared, and day-to-day administrative tasks running smoothly.

You'll support communications projects, company events, and coworker activities while working closely with the Communications Team.

You'll report to the Communications Director and play an important role in supporting the team's daily operations.

The Opportunity

No two days are the same.

One day you may prepare meeting materials and arrange travel. The next, you may process invoices, manage schedules, or support a company event.

You'll gain experience working with a communications team while building administrative, organizational, and project support skills.

If you enjoy variety, working with people, and keeping things organized, you'll thrive in this role.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage team calendars and support meetings and events

• Handle meeting logistics, take meeting notes, and arrange travel as needed

• Serve as a point of contact for coworkers, customers, and vendors

• Process invoices, reports, forms, and department records

• Support company events, appreciation activities, and special projects

• Order and manage office and event supplies

• Coordinate shipping, mail distribution, and package handling

• Assist with community outreach activities and company events as needed

• Keep project schedules, records, and priorities organized

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Administrative, office support, or customer service experience

• Strong people skills and a customer-first mindset

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organization, notetaking, and time management skills

• Experience using Microsoft Office

• Flexibility in a fast-moving environment
